Troops of the Task Force 1 battling remaining LTTE resistance in the areas at Adampan and Nevil has reportedly taken 4 successful enemy targets yesterday (Dec 12).
According to Wanni security sources, 3 terrorists were killed sniped in general area Adampan, while another met with similar fate in general area Nevil.
Meanwhile, troops have engaged intense armour assaults at identified LTTE positions in general area Nevil as military claimed half-a -dozen LTTE fatalities citing intercepted enemy communication. 3 terrorists have also sustained serious injuries in the Army assault, sources said.
Security forces are continuing forward dominations in the area, military sources added.
